THE PATHWAY OF SPIRIT

["Aurora" by Debra Hitchcock]
There are some who might wonder what Spirit has to do with being healthy. After all, when your body is ill, the first objective is to feel better--fast. We usually do this by getting medical help or letting whatever it is run its course while we retreat under the covers. The state of your spirit is normally not a priority at those times. So what does your spirit have to do with your health? Quite a lot, actually.
Firstly, I would like to define Spirit as it is used, here:
a. The vital principle or animating force within living beings.
b. Incorporeal consciousness.
c. The part of a human associated with the mind, will, and feelings
While I am not going to tell you to ignore the needs of your body when you are ill, I AM going to tell you that what is happening in your body very often sends a message about things that need healing in the non-physical realm. Conversely, your thoughts and feelings are a powerful tool for healing the body.
Thanks to advancements in technology and the willingness of science to investigate these things, there is a growing body of evidence from the fields of biology, psychology and quantum physics to support the above statements. Our minds and our feelings are WAY more powerful tools for shaping our reality than we have ever before believed possible.
Well-respected scientists and investigators have confirmed the truth of many phenomena that have been considered occult--or supernatural. Among these are the Power of Prayer, the Law of Attraction, the Power of Intention, Energy/Spiritual Healing, and Conscious Creation, to name but a few practices that are now emerging into a new level of respect and study--along with the "tools" needed to make these things work, or a new
Spiritual Technology, based on our growing understanding of the Quantum Universe.
These are all tools of the mind and the Human Energy Field (HEF)--our connections to everything else in the universe, and each other. Such tools help us access the non-physical senses and connect with our Inner Self--the knowing self, the creative self. The list includes, meditation, breathing, sound, energy practices like Reiki, prayer, Angelic/spiritual practices, and other tools to intensify focus and bypass our physical awareness.
So where is the science that connects all these dots?
Glad you asked...
